The Colorado Springs Sky Sox have announced that there will be a special gate opening on Wednesday, August 10^th before the Sky Sox 7:05 PM game with the Memphis Redbirds. With Wednesday being the last time that fans will be able to see Rockies slugger Jason Giambi in a Sky Sox uniform this season, the team is opening the gates an hour earlier at 5:00 PM so that fans can watch Giambi and his fellow Sky Sox teammates take batting practice at Security Service Field. Batting Practice for the team will begin at 5:15 PM and fans are encouraged to come out early and watch the boys of summer take their cuts.

The game will begin at 7:05 PM with Giambi scheduled to play the entire contest in his final rehab start with the team. Tickets can be purchased online on www.skysox.com, over the phone at (719) 597-SOXX or in person at the Sky Sox Box Office.
