A Minute in Maryvale: 2.23.17

While Colorado Springs experienced a winter whiteout Thursday morning, the Brewers finished their final day of practice before the first exhibition game of 2017 starts Friday afternoon.

In the twitter-sphere, Sky Sox of years past have been the subjects of many articles across many platforms.

Brent Suter, who was named Saturday’s starting pitcher for the Brewers Cactus League opener against the Angels in Tempe, made the @Haudricourt Files this Friday to discuss his potential new role as a reliever.

Meanwhile, Jorge Lopez is a little over a week away from joining the Puerto Rican National Team (and teammate Hiram Burgos) at the World Baseball Classic. Group D pool play for the American territory begins Friday, March 10, at 7 p.m. MT. against Venezuela in Jalisco, Mexico.

And now for the grab bag of Brewers life in Phoenix:
