In case you missed it, the Milwaukee Brewers’ offense went a little crazy Monday at Maryvale Baseball Park.
Up to this point of the season, a portion of the Cactus Crew’s games have looked a little more like this.

Close. Pitcher’s duels for stretches. Manufacturing enough offense to get the lead and then shut it down. Eleven of their first 18 Cactus League games have been ended within four runs.
Monday was not quite like that.
2. 3. 3. 5. 10. 1. That’s what the line score reads over the first six innings. That’s how many runs Milwaukee scored in six straight innings. Fourteen of the 19 position players to enter recorded at least one hit, while nine different players recorded at least one RBI.

However, before any Brewers and Sky Sox fans jump with excitement over the offensive outburst, just remember that it is indeed still Spring Training.
It’s not uncommon for offenses to go a bit wild in the #CactusLeague, but the @Brewers took it to an extreme https://t.co/NTZuRiQwZX

Pool F opens tonight at 7 p.m. MT at Petco Park, with two Caribbean powers squaring off under the lights. Pool C champion Dominican Republic, fresh off their seven-run eleventh inning outburst in their win over Colombia, meet ‘next-door neighbor’ Puerto Rico, who cruised through Pool D with an undefeated record. St. Louis ace Carlos Martinez faces Puerto Rican veteran Orlando Roman.
In the meantime, 2015-16 Sky Sox starter Hiram Burgos wore the Snapchat Spectacles during the Puerto Rican practice day before their highly-anticipated matchup.
