Eric Young Jr. Is Fast

Eric Young Jr. just stole his 30th base of the season in the bottom of the sixth inning today. In doing so, Young Jr. became just the sixth player in Sky Sox history to steal 30 or more bases in one season and the first since Terry Jones stole 36 bases in 1997. It is the 7th time it has been accomplised in one season as Sky Sox all-time stolen base leader Trenidad Hubbard did it twice (33, 1993 & 37 1995).

Young Jr. has been a speed demon on the bases this year and came into the day leading the PCL in stolen bases (29) and was ranked second in the entire minor leagues (Anthony Gose, 31).
