Ian Stewart was promoted to the Rockies after last nights game, a move that shouldn’t come as a huge surprise. Rockies Manager Jim Tracy told Stewart that his stay with the Sky Sox would be a relatively short one and was meant to help Stewart work on his timing at the plate.

Stewart hit .361 (13-36) with three home runs and 13 RBI in 11 games with the Sox.
