That’s all, folks!
The final pitch was thrown at the Maryvale Baseball Park Thursday afternoon and the Milwaukee Brewers packed up camp and are en route to Wisconsin. Sure, the minor leaguers still have a few more games left in Arizona, but the MLB squad have shipped off and have left the Valley of the Sun.

One guy who won’t have to worry about a spot on Milwaukee’s Opening Day roster is Hernan Perez, who played in 16 games for the Sox.
No matter the position, Hernán Pérez remains game. “Wherever you want to put me, I’m ready,” he said. https://t.co/hilFLOOzwY

After falling behind 4-0 after one inning, the Cactus Crew cut into the lead, scoring three runs in the second and third innings combined. Keon Broxton and Aguilar drove in their lone runs of the game, and Travis Shaw singled in Thames to cut into the deficit.
