The Sky Sox have split the first two games of the four-game set against the Storm Chasers, after Monday’s 3-1 loss at Werner Park. In a battle of two Triple-A rookies it was the Chasers’ Jake Junis that made his debut one to remember with seven strong innings, while Josh Hader gave up three runs in 5 1/3 innings of work. The Sky Sox run came on a Yadiel Rivera solo homer in the third inning, which gave the Sky Sox a 1-0 lead. Omaha plated its first and go-ahead runs on sacrifice flies and Hunter Dozier added some insurance with an RBI double in the sixth.
