SKY SOX AND RENO:  The Reno Aces enter tonight’s game with the best record in the division and the best record of any team in the Pacific Coast League since May 1st (28-11).  The two teams split their first series of the season, which was the opening series of the 2012 season, with Reno winning the first two games and the Sky Sox winning the last two games to earn a series split by coming from behind in both games.  The Aces took the season series from Colorado Springs last year 11-5, but the two teams split the eight games at Security Service Field.  Since Reno joined the PCL in 2009, the Sky Sox have posted only one winning season against the Aces, in 2010 when they went 9-7 (6-2 at Security Service Field).  The Aces won the only other season series in 2009 8-7, including winning five of the seven games in Colorado Springs.

NORTHERN DIVISION FINALLY IN THE SPRINGS:  Tonight’s game marks the first home division game for the Sky Sox, making Colorado Springs the last team in the PCL to host a division game.  The Sky Sox played their first twelve division games on the road so far in the 2012 season, posting a 5-7 record in those games with two series splits in Reno and Tacoma to start the season.
