TRANSACTIONS:  The Rockies signed catcher Omir Santos, who appeared in three games for the Detroit Tigers earlier this month and has spent a majority of the 2012 season at Triple-A Toledo where he batted .310 (26-for-84) with seven doubles and nine RBI.  The Rockies sent catcher Dallas Tarleton back to High-A Modesto, who was batting .300 (9-for-30) with seven RBI and five runs scored in his nine games with the Sky Sox.

COMEBACKS VS ACES:  In all three of the Sky Sox wins against the Aces this season, Reno has led at one point in the game.  Colorado Springs has 13 wins this season when they have trailed at any point in the game.

SOX STRIKEOUTS:  The Sky Sox are the only team that has reached 500 strikeouts so far this season, and their total of 520 strikeouts is 21 more strikeouts than any other team in the Pacific Coast League.  With their 12 strikeouts in last night’s game, the Sox notched their 18th double-digit strikeout game as a team this season.
