TRANSACTIONS: The Rockies signed catcher Omir Santos, who appeared in three games for the Detroit Tigers earlier this month and has spent a majority of the 2012 season at Triple-A Toledo where he batted .310 (26-for-84) with seven doubles and nine RBI. The Rockies sent catcher Dallas Tarleton back to High-A Modesto, who was batting .300 (9-for-30) with seven RBI and five runs scored in his nine games with the Sky Sox.
