  • CURRENT STREAKS:  The Sky Sox enter tonight’s game with five players who have hitting streaks of at least four games, with Sky Sox first baseman Chad Tracy leading the way with a team-high seven game hitting streak, his longest of the season, and has collected a RBI in six of the seven games while scoring seven runs.  Colorado Springs outfielders Hernan Iribarren and Andrew Brown both have six game hitting streaks, and Iribarren has reached base safely in 26 of his last 29 games.  Sox catcher Dallas Tarleton has a five game hitting streak, and has collected a hit in all six of his Triple-A starts, while Tim Wheeler has yet to go hitless in a game at Security Service Field (Wheeler missed the first 19 home games due to injury).
  • HAVING A FIELD DAY: Since Sky Sox shortstop Tommy Field was moved to the leadoff spot in the lineup during the second game of Colorado Springs’ doubleheader with Oklahoma City on May 24, Field has put together seven multi-hit games during that span.  From the top spot in the lineup, Field is batting .375 (18-for-48) with 11 runs and seven RBI.  Field has either collected a run scored or a RBI in ten of the 12 games he has batted in the leadoff spot this season.
